Corporal Eric Evine Sutphin, aged 40, tragically lost his life on August 21, 2006, in Blacksburg, Virginia. Corporal Sutphin, a dedicated law enforcement officer with over 13 years of experience, was killed in the line of duty while participating in a massive manhunt for an escaped prisoner.
