Partahi Mamora Halomoan Lumbantoruan, a 34-year-old male Ph.D. student from Medan, North Sumatra, Indonesia, was killed on April 16, 2007, in Blacksburg, Virginia. He was pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at Virginia Tech.
