On a summer day in 2007, the life of 18-year-old Maurice Thomas was tragically cut short in a violent intrusion in Henrico, Virginia. The young man was inside an apartment in the 300 block of East Beal Street on June 22nd when the unthinkable happened. At least two individuals forced their way into the residence and opened fire on the people inside.
