In the early evening hours of September 21, 2011, a young man's life was tragically cut short on a street corner in Chesapeake, Virginia. Marquise K. Williams, a 21-year-old male from Norfolk, was found on the ground at the intersection of Bethel and Algona roads in the South Norfolk section of the city around 7:30 p.m.. He had been shot, and his death was ruled a homicide.
