Ronald Cherry, aged 38, tragically lost his life on September 9, 2018, in Chesapeake, Virginia. The incident occurred early in the morning when Chesapeake police officers were dispatched to the 1300 block of MacDonald Road following reports of gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, officers discovered Ronald Cherry in the breezeway of 1314 MacDonald Road, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Norfolk General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
