In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Newport News, Virginia, a life was tragically cut short, leaving a void in the lives of those who knew and loved the 27-year-old Black man, Reginald Turner. On September 23, 2012, what began as a social gathering at a house party devolved into a fatal encounter for Turner.
