In the late summer of 2020, the life of 19-year-old Hasin Tyrel Burgess was cut tragically short. On the afternoon of Saturday, September 5th, shots rang out in the vicinity of 42nd Street and Madison Avenue in Newport News, Virginia. When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Burgess suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite any efforts to save him, the young man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
