On June 15, 2003, 18-year-old Nicholas "Nick" Harley Shinn was last seen at the Wedgewood Apartments in Ripley, West Virginia. At the time of his disappearance, he was living with his older brother and sister-in-law in the apartment complex, which was located behind the West Ripley Shopping Plaza. Nicholas, who grew up in Jackson County and attended Ravenswood High School, has not been seen or heard from since he walked away from the apartment. He left behind all of his personal belongings.
