In the autumn of 2012, the life of 35-year-old Latonya Marie Birsner-Stinson was tragically cut short. On October 24, the Hampton, Virginia woman died from a gunshot wound, an event that would be investigated as a homicide. Birsner-Stinson was a mother and a former student of Kecoughtan High School.
