On a tragic afternoon in Norfolk, Virginia, Ervin Peebles, a 46-year-old man, lost his life in a sudden act of violence. On March 15, 2013, Peebles and another man, Aalon Smith, were seated in a pickup truck in the 600 block of Cornwallis Avenue when they were both fatally shot. Both victims were residents of Drewryville, Virginia. The incident cut short the lives of both men and left a community searching for answers.
