In the quiet, pre-dawn hours of a Sterling, Virginia neighborhood, a series of tragic missteps led to the untimely death of 16-year-old Caleb Gordley. On March 17, 2013, after a night of drinking with friends, the teenager was dropped off near his home. In a state of confusion, he mistakenly identified a neighbor's house, which was architecturally identical to his own and just two doors down, as his residence.
