Spradling, who was a dedicated officer with the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) for 25 years, was fatally shot inside his home on Blossom Drive. The incident was classified as domestic in nature, and his wife, Rosangela Spradling, was charged with first-degree murder.
