Jose I. Escobar Menendez, a 24-year-old Latinx gay man, was tragically shot to death in Sterling, Virginia, on July 8, 2020. His body was discovered along a roadway at around 3:30 am. The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office quickly launched an investigation, leading to the arrest of three individuals in connection with his murder.
