In the late evening hours of Friday, September 1, 2023, a shooting shattered the quiet of a Sterling, Virginia neighborhood, leaving a young man dead. Just after 10:30 p.m., deputies from the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the 21000 block of Stanford Square following reports of gunfire.
