In the early morning hours of June 27, 2013, a tragic event unfolded in a Midlothian, Virginia, home that would claim the life of 32-year-old Abdelmagied Elsayed Hussein. Awakened by the sound of intruders inside his residence on Bristol Village Drive, Hussein confronted the individuals in an act of protecting his family. During this confrontation, he was fatally shot by the assailants. The male victim's attempt to defend his loved ones ended in his untimely death.
