Robert Cameron Ashburn Jr., aged 56, tragically lost his life on October 31, 2022, in Midlothian, Virginia. The incident occurred early in the morning when Ashburn was leaving his home on North Carriage Lane around 3:30 a.m. He noticed someone rummaging through his girlfriend's unlocked car. In an attempt to confront the individual, Ashburn was shot by the suspect, who then fled the scene on foot. Despite efforts by first responders, Ashburn succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
