Lucy Celenia Perry, aged 67, was found dead in her home on Nansemond River Drive in Suffolk, VA, on July 15, 2013. The tragic incident was later identified as a murder-suicide involving her husband, Dennis Joseph Perry, aged 64. According to the Suffolk police, Dennis Perry shot his wife before turning the gun on himself. The couple's bodies were discovered after neighbors noticed their prolonged absence from church and an overflowing mailbox.
