Joel Scott Heatley, aged 46, passed away on July 21, 2013, in Richmond, Virginia. Born in Savannah, Georgia, he was the son of the late James Wilson Heatley and Sonya Faye Blackburn Heatley. Joel, known as Scott, was an all-star athlete in high school, excelling in both football and basketball. He is survived by his children, Riley and Ryan Heatley, and several other family members.
