Myrle Knowles Carr, aged 73, passed away on July 24, 2013, in Pender County, North Carolina. Her death was a result of a tragic incident involving both homicide and arson. Myrle's body was discovered in her burning home by Pender County officers around 7 p.m. on the day of her death. The investigation revealed that she had been shot before the fire was set.
