In the early morning hours of June 28, 2022, the life of 35-year-old Amanda Horner was tragically cut short in Hopewell, Virginia. Responding to reports of gunshots shortly after 2:00 a.m. near the intersection of South 13th Avenue and Buren Street, police discovered a grim scene. Amanda and a companion, 33-year-old Jerrell Lynwood, were found inside a vehicle that had crashed into a parked SUV. Both had suffered fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
