In the summer of 2013, the life of a young man, Kendele Joseph Johnson, was cut short in what remains an unsolved homicide in Chesapeake, Virginia. Johnson, a 24-year-old male, was found deceased in his residence on Fairview Street on August 15, 2013. The cause of his death was a gunshot wound, leading authorities to immediately classify the case as a homicide.
