In the quiet streets of Chesapeake, Virginia, the life of 23-year-old Levi Frederick was cut short on the evening of March 2, 2015. A Black male, Frederick was with friends at a residence on River Creek Road when the sudden violence of a drive-by shooting erupted. Multiple shots, as many as 15, were fired from a passing vehicle, fatally wounding him. Another individual was also injured in the attack.
