Jaonta Wyche, a 20-year-old from Chesapeake, Virginia, tragically lost his life on April 29, 2017. The incident occurred when Wyche and his friend, Juan "Lil Juan" Perry, were handling a shotgun at their home on Seaboard Avenue in South Norfolk. According to police reports, the shotgun accidentally discharged, striking Wyche in the face and resulting in his immediate death. Despite the claims from both families that the shooting was accidental, Perry was charged with voluntary manslaughter.
