In the quiet evening of October 1, 2020, the life of 29-year-old Datron Porch was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire in Chesapeake, Virginia. A Black male, Porch was discovered by police responding to reports of gunshots in the 4200 block of Reid Street around 9:43 p.m. His body was located in the nearby 2000 block of Linster Street, where he was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound.
