Carrington Banks, a 34-year-old resident of Lynchburg, Virginia, tragically lost his life on November 22, 2014. The circumstances surrounding his death were both shocking and tragic. Banks was killed by his roommate, Garry Antione Smith, following a heated argument at their home on Georgia Avenue. The altercation reportedly escalated when Smith disrespected Banks' 8-year-old son, leading to a confrontation that ended with Smith shooting Banks in the chest.
