David W. Ware Jr., a 68-year-old resident of Grafton, VA, tragically lost his life on December 19, 2014. Ware was reportedly hunting a fox that had been killing chickens in the area when he was fatally shot. The incident occurred in a marshy area near 1900 Lakeside Drive in Grafton. Emergency dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call around 4:50 p.m., and upon arrival, responders found Ware deceased with an unfired shotgun by his side.
