On the evening of July 30, 2020, in Manassas, Virginia, a burst of gunfire shattered the night, leaving a community in mourning. When Manassas City Police officers arrived at the 8600 block of Bruton Parish Court around 10:10 p.m., they discovered two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. One of the victims was 49-year-old Tommy Campbell, a Black male, who was rushed to a nearby hospital where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
