Rita Kay Rowles, aged 51, tragically died on May 28, 2015, in what has been identified as a murder-suicide incident in Rockbridge County, near Buena Vista, Virginia. The Rockbridge County Sheriff's Office reported that they received a 911 call at approximately 11:10 PM on the night of the incident, requesting emergency medical services at a residence on the 700 block of Longhollow Road.
