Upon entering the residence, they found her suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services were called, but tragically, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Suffolk Police Department's investigation into the homicide quickly focused on a primary suspect: Karen's
estranged husband, 60-year-old Kevin Glover of Virginia Beach. Investigators determined that Kevin had forcibly entered his wife's home and shot her several times before fleeing the area. The investigation to locate him became a multi-state effort, involving the Virginia Beach and Philadelphia Police Departments.
Following the tragic shooting, Kevin Glover drove to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There, he was found deceased in his vehicle by the Philadelphia Police Department. His death was the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, leading authorities to conclude that the case was a murder-suicide. While the investigation remains ongoing, authorities have not released further details regarding a possible motive for the devastating events.
