On March 9, 2023, family members made a grim discovery when they went to check on the welfare of 57-year-old Karen Glover, a Black/African American female, at her home on Bute Street in Suffolk, Virginia. Upon entering the residence, they found her suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency services were called, but tragically, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.
