Lori Ann Dooley, a 54-year-old female, was a compassionate homemaker and a former orthodontic specialist, known for her contagious laugh and active involvement in her church. She was a devoted wife to her husband of nearly 30 years, Steven Todd Dooley, and a loving mother to their children, Cameron, Landon, and Brooke. On that Wednesday afternoon, Chesapeake police were called to the Dooley residence for a welfare check, where they made a grim discovery.
