On a tragic Friday night in Norfolk, Virginia, the life of 26-year-old Seaman Keith Lendore was cut short by gun violence. On October 16, 2015, Lendore was at a party near 37th Street and Killam Avenue when gunfire erupted shortly before 11:45 p.m. Norfolk Police and Old Dominion University Police responded to reports of shots fired in the 1000 block of W. 37th Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered a chaotic scene with three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
