In the early hours of a Saturday morning, the life of 28-year-old Quinton D. Wells was tragically cut short. On January 28, 2017, Norfolk police and paramedics responded to a call shortly after midnight about a man who had been shot inside a residence on East Charlotte Street. Upon their arrival at the 800 block of the street, they discovered Wells suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
