On July 26, 2022, in Fairbanks, Alaska, a tragic incident occurred involving the Mott family. Fifteen-year-old Kiefer Mott fatally shot three of his siblings: 17-year-old Mercedes, 8-year-old Ryker, and 5-year-old Miura. After committing these acts, Kiefer turned the gun on himself, resulting in his own death. At the time of the shootings, the children's parents were not present in the home. Three other siblings, all under the age of seven, were in the residence but were unharmed.
