On July 26, 2022, in Fairbanks, Alaska, 5-year-old Miura Mott, a female child, was found dead alongside three of her siblings after gunshots were reported at a home in the Skyridge Drive subdivision. Alaska State Troopers said officers responded late that afternoon and discovered four juveniles dead from gunshot wounds. The children's parents were not at home when the shooting occurred.
