On May 14, 2023, in Fairbanks, Alaska, police conducted a welfare check at a residence on McCarty Avenue after receiving a call from someone concerned about the occupants' well-being. Upon arrival, officers discovered the bodies of 64-year-old Linda Dunbar, her husband Wesley Dunbar, also 64, and their 36-year-old daughter, Nancy Dunbar.
