Rory James Schaffer, a 45-year-old man from Newnan, Georgia, was last seen on November 1, 2022. His disappearance was reported when his 2018 silver Dodge Ram 2500 was found abandoned in Newnan on November 9, 2022. Schaffer, a former submariner at Kings Bay, had recently lost his pet named Rosie in September 2022. The circumstances of his disappearance remain unclear, but it is noted that he was struggling with PTSD.
