Bryce Edward Hinkle, a 62-year-old resident of Newport News, Virginia, was found dead in his home on May 30, 2016. Hinkle, known affectionately as "Mr. Ed" due to his lawnmower repair business, was discovered by neighbors who noticed a suspicious car in the area and decided to check on him. They found him lying on the floor through an open door and immediately called 911. When the police arrived, they found Hinkle had suffered at least one gunshot wound.
