On a quiet Sunday evening in the Denbigh area of Newport News, Virginia, the life of a young man was cut tragically short. Twenty-three-year-old Antoine Marcus Williams, a male resident of the city, was inside a home on the 300 block of Circuit Lane on June 19, 2016, when violence shattered the peace of the neighborhood. Emergency dispatchers received a call reporting the sound of gunfire at 8:35 p.m., and police officers were promptly sent to the scene to investigate the disturbance.
