While Laszlo Pentek was transported to the hospital for his injuries, Donna Pentek was pronounced dead at the scene. In the immediate aftermath, the circumstances surrounding the two shootings were unclear. However, as Fairfax County police delved into the case, the evidence began to point not to a suicide, but to a cold-blooded murder.
