Marilyn Sommer, an 87-year-old woman, was fatally shot in her home in Fairfax County, Virginia, on February 28, 2025. Authorities responded to a domestic dispute at the residence on Pennypacker Lane in Chantilly around 6 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Marilyn Sommer with gunshot wounds to her upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
