Donye Lamont Smith, aged 37, passed away on May 8, 2017, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Born on July 14, 1979, in Roanoke, Virginia, he spent much of his childhood in Eden, North Carolina, before returning to Roanoke after high school. He was a beloved member of his community, remembered fondly by family and friends.
