In the quiet evening of September 19, 2017, in Hampton, Virginia, the life of 49-year-old Colin Quentin Chappell was tragically cut short. Inside a residence on Ridgeway Avenue, Chappell was fatally shot. The incident prompted an investigation by the Hampton Police Division, which quickly led to a suspect.
