On a summer evening in Newport News, Virginia, the life of 24-year-old Eimaja Jada Harris, a female, was tragically cut short. On June 28, 2018, police were called to her apartment in the 100 block of Tricia Lane around 5:25 p.m. Inside, they discovered that Harris had been fatally shot. Medics arrived on the scene and pronounced her dead shortly after at 5:29 p.m.
