In the winter of 2018, the life of 32-year-old Marcus E. Craft, a Black/African American male, was cut short on the streets of Jackson, Mississippi. On the evening of January 5th, Craft was shot and killed on Ford Avenue in what investigators believe was a targeted attack. The incident added another layer to an already complex web of violence, as Craft himself was a suspect in a separate murder case.
