Bernard L. Spratley, a 33-year-old African American male from Petersburg, Virginia, tragically lost his life on July 19, 2018, following a violent incident. Known affectionately as "Duke," Bernard was transported to VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, after sustaining injuries in a shooting.
