Dennis Carter Jr., a 26-year-old male from Holden, Louisiana, tragically lost his life on September 5, 2009. The incident occurred at the rural home of his estranged father, Dennis Carter Sr., who was 50 years old at the time. The elder Carter, who had a history of domestic violence, shot and killed his estranged wife, Donna Carter, aged 49, and his son, Dennis Carter Jr., inside the house.
