On the evening of October 21, 2019, a Petersburg, Virginia resident, 28-year-old Tyvin K. Dixon, was fatally shot in Chesterfield County. The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. in the 9700 block of River Road. When police responded to reports of shots fired, they discovered Dixon suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
