Jarrell L. Young, a 31-year-old resident of Richmond, Virginia, tragically died on October 3, 2018. His death occurred on the steps of the John Marshall Courthouse in Richmond. According to reports, Young died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The incident was reported to emergency communications by a Richmond Sheriff’s deputy, and upon arrival, officers found Young's body on the courthouse steps. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
