In the Hillside Court area of Richmond, Virginia, a tragic shooting on April 15, 2019, claimed the life of 21-year-old Eric D. Wheless. Reports from that day indicate that Richmond Police were called to the 1800 block of Southlawn Avenue around 12:50 p.m. for reports of gunfire. Upon their arrival, they discovered three males who had been shot. Eric D. Wheless, a Black male, and another man, 20-year-old Tijuan D. Davis, were pronounced dead at the scene.
