On February 5, 2024, at approximately 8:02 p.m., Richmond Police officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 2300 block of Ambrose Street in the Whitcomb Court area. Upon arrival, they discovered 31-year-old Richmond resident Devaugh Brown suffering from a gunshot wound. Brown was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and was later pronounced dead.
