On the night of August 1, 2019, Tyree Lamar Spady, an 18-year-old resident of Hampton, Virginia, was tragically killed in a double homicide at an apartment complex in Newport News. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. in the 900 block of Forest Lake Court. Responding officers found Spady and another victim, 15-year-old Erek Lamarr Wright Jr., suffering from gunshot wounds.
